Hi! My name is Diane Crooks. I graduated
with my dental hygiene degree in 1982 from Wichita State University.
My wonderful husband, Leland, and I live in Parsons and have two awesome
children. Our daughter, Courtney, graduated in May of 2008 from Loyola
Marymount University in Los Angeles and our son, Sam, is attending
college in Kansas City. I enjoy my profession very much and am pleased
to have been associated with Dr. Finley’s dental practice since November, 1997. The most
challenging and rewarding aspect of being a dental hygienist is helping
to transform patients who are on the verge of losing their teeth due
to periodontal (gum) disease to a disease-free, healthy state. It gives
me great personal and professional satisfaction to know that I have
contributed to someone’s quality of life by helping him or her
keep their teeth.
KEEP FLOSSING !
I have been married over forty-five years to
a really good man. My greatest accomplishments have been my
two wonderful daughters, Christine and Paula. They have given
us seven grandchildren and one great grandson, all of whom are the
loves of our lives.
By chance, many years ago, I was offered
a job as a dental assistant. Taking
advantage of that opportunity was one of the best decisions I have
ever made. I was an assistant for five years before moving
to Parsons and accepting the opportunity to work with Dr. Finley
in the business office. We have been working together for approximately
twenty-nine years.
It has been a very rewarding and satisfying
career. I’ve been blessed to have had the opportunity
to work with many wonderful patients (friends).
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time
with my family, going to garage sales and flea markets, reading
and long walks along the lake. One of these days I would like to go on the four-
hundred- fifty-mile garage sale from Alabama to Kentucky. What
I would really like the most is to travel across our beautiful
country with my truck-driving husband as the navigator and tour
guide.
I have worked as a chairside assistant
(amongst other duties) for Dr. Finley since August of 1991. Some
of my other responsibilities include helping in the business office,
being the OSHA coordinator, ordering supplies and training new employees.
I consider myself fortunate to have a job that is
challenging, rewarding, and gives me the opportunity to meet many
people, hopefully making a healthy difference in their lives.
I am married with three grown daughters. In
my spare time, I keep busy with church activities, gardening, quilting
and other family functions.
I live in the big town of Cherokee, Kansas
and have worked with Dr. Finley since I obtained my dental hygiene degree
from
Missouri Southern State University in May, 2000. I’m married
and have a son who is attending Pittsburg State University and a
daughter who has graduated from there. Before I received my
hygiene degree, chairside assisting was my passion. I worked
in that capacity for approximately eleven years and have greatly
benefited from that experience. Personally, I find it very
rewarding to be able to help individuals overcome or prevent dental
disease and improve their quality of life.
Hi! My name is Mandy and I am the newest member
of Dr. Finley’s
dental team. I find participating in the dental care of our patients
to be challenging and very rewarding. My duties involve assisting
with treatment procedures and also working in the business office.
I am married and have two beautiful daughters. In my spare time,
I like to shop, go camping and spend time with my family.
Please accept our invitation to come by or call if there is anything
we can do to help with your dental concerns.
